This Friday is so important and hectic. Especially for me..with work – dispatching my life away…and dreaming, something we all do. We’re dreamers of big hopes, big accomplishments and dreamers of leaving a big impact on this tiny rock we call home.

My husband is also a dreamer.

Literally.

He lives as a dreamer, day and night. He never stops dreaming. Dreaming that his country, America, will take care of him, just like we, as citizens, try to take care of her.

Isn’t that crazy? Is that too much to ask for?

A piece of paper and a shit ton of rich cats have the power to decide your fate. I’ve not lost hope. Never, because life does go on, and that should always be on your noggin.

How are things on the other side of the world?

I hear Russia is having a field day with those cold temps, FYI, TX is getting hit with Artic blasts, and they aren’t fun…at all!!

Now, back to dreamers. They are being penalized for a choice they never had the chance to make. If my mother murdured a man, I would be charged. Sounds stupid, right? Well that’s America for you.

Stupid.

Beautiful, but stupid.

So, DACA was created to help those who came to this country by no choice of their own, to protect them and permit them to work and learn here. With this, they now had a chance to give themselves an education and work for their families. They would have to renew their permits every two years, which they do, and they can’t have any felonies, meaning that they aren’t criminals. And we have Senators and Congressman, along with our shitty “President”, who don’t want to give them their right to their only place they’ve called home. They don’t know anything BUT America. They are afraid for their future, as I a citizen of America am, and they are being used as bargaining chips for the wants of these deranged and hypocritical men who sit at the highest pedestals.

I did my part and called my congressman here in Texas, a melting pot of immigrants – in fact ALL OF AMERICA IS A MELTING POT.

America does not need a wall, it needs more patrol men at the border. It needs to fund education for her citizens so that they can become working members of society. We need to legalize hard drugs, which will keep cartels from coming in – we’d only have to worry about Americans selling it cheap – done deal. We need to make healthcare universal, I mean really, we’re supposed to be the leaders of the “free world” and we can’t care for our citizens? What a joke. We need to make the rich pay their taxes and we need to quit giving them tax breaks due to their wealth THAT THEY ACQUIRED FROM THE MIDDLE AND LOW INCOME CLASS!!!! If you give to charity, there is no reason for you to get your money back, you are gifting it. Why do you get a tax break?? They need to stop treating corporate “America” as if they mattered, they also need to be taxed way the fuck up. And all these off-shore accounts need to be brought to America, and for those caught, need to pay a hefty fine…

But I live in a world of giants, and a girl can dream.
