Hey Mother lovers,
If you follow me on Facebook, you’ve noticed by now that
I’ve fallen into a baking phase.
I must be honest, I just like being able to serve sweets that others will enjoy. I see these delectables and wonder how I can make it and make it better. And it feels good when those who eat it, like it. Obviously.
I pick recipes from Youtube, I have at least four channels I
live for - I will post links down below for you, and I recommend checking them out.
As of late though, I check on google for recipes and it leads me to other bloggers/websites.
I have gotten two recipes for desserts already from a site called The Spruce.
Amazing recipes, especially for beginners, like us. And they taste so good and are easily made, so far I tried the souffle - which I will master GAWDAMNIT, and the vanilla cupcakes..which yes are just as good as they look:
Baking, with no surprise, makes a big ol’ mess. Flour
everywhere, egg whites drippings on the counter, and I am convinced the most
difficult dry ingredient to deal with is cocoa powder. It gets clumpy quick.

But so darn good for everything - and if you add INSTANT coffee, NOT coffee GROUNDS, to the recipe it enhances the chocolate taste.
Coffee lovers, that one is for you, had you already not known.
Also, I’ve learned that certain ingredients are used - for instance, the instant coffee. As a
novice, it makes me wonder "Why?", but I guess vets would be like,"Duh, makes sense," Like sour cream can be used for cake and cookie recipes, or cream of tartar
and instant coffee.
The more you know.
It is fun to pick up on stuff like that, a bit more prepared.
Yesterday, I made cupcakes for the first time – and all from
scratch: batter and frosting. Both came out the be so damn delicious, the only
thing noted was that I added chips – reece’s peanut butter chips – which was a
bit much and took away from the simplicity of the taste that could have been better alone. So I will be making these again, sans chips,
Another thing I’ve been wanting to address is that I created
this blog for a specific purpose, but now it has pivoted. This is my personal
blog. I will write opinion pieces, daily occurrences that I feel worthy to share, funny mishaps and short stories from time to time. I will try to do movie reviews, but who
knows?
And, guess what?
I will be going back to working on my story because
life is too short not to finish it.
Good or not, as long as I cross the finish line, eh?
In case any of you want those links for recipes/YouTubers I will share
