Hey Motherlovers
I wanted to share this with you all. This is a short poem about a woman who has an unknown illness and how she chooses to deal with these issues. Everything in life comes with it's share of insecurities and pain, but making the choice to fight is what separates our experiences.
Please enjoy.

She took a step forward
Then a step back
She looked at all the
things
She was leaving behind
And kept going on her
path
They said she took a
couple pills
Said that the Doctor
prescribed them
From being so ill
Kept her from hearing
voices, it kept her
From paying her bill
She wasn’t sure what she
was looking for
Or where she was headed
She just took her keys,
money, a bottle of whiskey
And left her pills at
home
Yet They continued to laugh
at her
Yelling and screaming in
her ears
The less pills she took, the worse it became
It guided her towards the bar
every night
Surrounded by her fears and a glass of cheap wine
And they kept at it, day after day
Torturing her with
memories she wouldn’t live to see
Torturing her with the
fact that normal
Is one thing she will
never be
Taking everything away from her
Taking everything away from her
The day she would be free
and walk among
The rest of the brave
Would be the day she
would be laid to rest
And no words will be left
to say
But she won’t go down
easy
Those cheeky bastards!
Each and
every one of them will pay
She’ll go alive and
kicking
She knew she would die trying
and not one word was said.
Muah, Nuggets.
